Who we are
Potluck Flowers is led by gardener and florist Helen Hirst.
Helen has a love of locally grown, seasonal flowers and works with a network of growers to bring the joy of the english flower garden to your homes and events.
Having spent many years working as a gardener, grower and florist on private estates, Helen works in step with the floral calendar. From a sward of snowdrops pushing through moss, to the heavy abundance of a dahlia bed, Helen delights in the floral moments that map out the year.
Following a BA in Fine Art Painting at University of the Arts, london, Helen trained with Rachel Wardley at Talullah Rose Flower School and holds an RHS L2 Diploma in horticulture.
How we work
At Potluck we like to keep things simple.
Let us know when, where and why you’d like flowers and we’ll let you know your options according to the season and what our network of growers are growing on their farms.
We have our own unique collection of pots, thrifted and collected over time. These are available to rent for your event or purchase as gifts alongside bouquets.
If you decide, we’re a good match, book us in for your celebration. We’ll endeavour to wow you with flowers to celebrate.
